A moving vehicle caught fire on the LZ-2, near Tías, on Monday morning.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the incident occurred around 11 a.m., and the fire affected the lower front area of the vehicle. Agents of the Civil Guard were the first to arrive at the scene of the fire, and with the help of a fire extinguisher, they managed to extinguish the flames.
The firefighters cooled the engine and the undercarriage of the vehicle, thus preventing a possible reactivation of the fire.
