A boat of about 12 meters in length has run aground in a rocky area in Playa Honda. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. this Tuesday, May 30, on Juan el Curita beach.
It was a local resident who, seeing the situation, called CECOES. Local Police, Maritime Rescue, Emerlan and the Emergency Consortium have moved to the place.
The three crew members of the yacht and a dog have not suffered any injuries. The firefighters approached the boat to see how the two men and the woman were and try to help them get it out of the rocks.
One of the occupants of the boat took the dog out and took it to the shore.
The troops have tied up the boat but have not been able to get it out, it will be hours later when the tide rises when they try again.
