A 70-year-old man drowned this Thursday in Playa Chica, as reported by CECOES.
The event took place around 1:00 p.m., when rescuers saw a person floating unconscious in the sea with signs of drowning. They quickly pulled him out of the water and performed resuscitation maneuvers. Subsequently, the health personnel continued with them but they were unsuccessful.
Agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, two SUC ambulances and beach personnel have traveled to the place.
The police services have taken charge of the corresponding procedures.
