A 62-year-old man, of foreign nationality, has died by drowning this Thursday at Playa Dorada, in the town of Playa Blanca. The event took place at 13:35, when CECOES received an alert that they had rescued a man from the water with signs of drowning.
Once the paramedics of the Canary Emergency Service arrived, they started basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers without success, confirming the death.
Two ambulances from the SUC, one basic life support and one medicalized, as well as the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Yaiza, have moved to the place
