A 72-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries this Friday after being run over on Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez, in the municipality of Teguise
The hit-and-run occurred around 12:50 p.m. when CECOES was alerted to the incident. Local Police officers and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.
The healthcare personnel provided initial care for the wound, which at the initial time of assistance, presented a trauma of moderate severity. After being stabilized, she was transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
For its part, the Local Police were in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures.
