The wooden Canarian ball tournament, organized by the Arrecife City Council for the Elderly from May 26 to 28 on the courts set up in the surroundings of the Arrecife Civic Center, located in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood, had about 130 participants divided into 11 male and 7 female teams.
The councilor responsible for the area, Rosmen Quevedo, appreciates "the involvement of players and the good times they have given us to those of us who were able to enjoy the games of this tournament held in order to enhance one of our most emblematic native sports on the occasion of Canary Islands Day."
