Los Campesinos
Los Campesinos, founded in 1964 in Arrecife, has been a cultural reference on the island for the last six decades and a true symbol of the popular culture of the Canary Islands, as confirmed by the granting of the Gold Medal, which was awarded by the Autonomous Government as a sign of the recognition and respect that the group has earned throughout its trajectory.
Pieles
The Pieles Company presented itself with an avant-garde proposal inspired by the folklore of the Canary Islands, also drawing on the traditional manifestations of the rest of the world. An innovative project with great ethnographic and anthropological value, which promotes the rapprochement between the various cultures of the planet to give rise to a plural song; Canarian and universal. Pieles recreates the popular sonority of music through a novel experience, in the most primitive folkloric resources, stone, glass, wood and metal, alternate with the classic cut instrument.
