The Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism encourage citizens to participate in the "Naturalistic and Scientific Illustration Workshop" that they have organized "focused on the creation of watercolors of the species present in the Arrecife Marina and in the writing of descriptive texts about their ethology and ecological relationships", announces CACT Lanzarote.

"This original and innovative training program" will be taught by Fran Rodríguez, Bachelor of Marine Sciences, they collect. Rodríguez is a prominent illustrator and environmental educator with experience in the design of informative material and, in addition, a collaborator in important conservation and education projects, they emphasize.

Framed in the acts of celebration of the "Museum Day", the workshop will be carried out in the Islote de Fermina, during the next days of the weekend of May 6, 7, 13 and 14, from 10.00 to 13.30 hours.

"The methodology of the workshop will be face-to-face, in a group of 8 people, in well-lit and adequate spaces", they inform.

"Attendees will be able to acquire knowledge and skills in watercolor techniques, gradients, shadows, textures and elaboration of informative texts", they confirm. In addition, "a session on image digitization will be included to improve the quality of the informative material", they advance.

The necessary materials for the workshop will be provided by the organization and the results of this workshop will be presented on May 18 at the MIAC, during the events that will take place on "Museum Day 2023", they conclude.
