The Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise hosted a concert by the timplista from Órzola, José Domingo Curbelo, on Thursday afternoon. On this occasion he was accompanied on guitar by his good friend, Pedro Rodríguez, and with the prestigious solo voice of Begoña Quintero.

José Domingo Curbelo returned to the Casa-Museo with great enthusiasm, like the first time he performed in 2014. Curbelo is a timplista who is characterized by his dedication and good work, self-taught with his own stamp and a reference of traditional music with Canarian roots. Although he has a great skill for other instruments such as the guitar, lute or classical bass, among others, who really fell in love with him was the "Camellito Sonoro"

For this concert, the timplista from Órzola chose a very varied repertoire, beginning with an instrumental first part where the timple was the protagonist, surrounded by his partner, the guitar, which the guitarist, Pedro Rodríguez, made sound good. The second part featured the unique voice of the soloist Begoña Quintero. A woman with surprising vocal qualities with unique nuances that Begoña naturally displays when interpreting any musical genre, whether it be folías, malagueñas, isas or the Latin rhythms from the other side of the Atlantic.

José Domingo currently has two musical recordings which he called "Timpleteo 1 y 2", which include the most traditional of Canarian music and some South American winks.

Nory Machín, Councilor for Culture, and Benito Cabrera, Commissioner of the Casa-Museo present at the event, were very excited about the reception that the concerts are receiving on the networks with the hope that they can open the doors to the public very soon.
