The 'Rikabanda' orchestra will also perform at the 'Los Dolores' festivities and after the Juanes concert on September 15 and 16, two performances in which it will include its two latest self-produced songs 'La Dema' and 'Todo Contigo'. A band originally from Arrecife, formed in 2007 in the Tinasoria neighborhood of the Lanzarote capital. Made up of 13 musicians, "we are 12 boys and one girl, who is the singer of the group," says Néstor Morales, one of its members to La Voz.

A group specialized in "playing urban merengue", made up of musicians of different ages. "We have members of all types of ages and generations", he says. "From the youngest with 22 years to the oldest with around 53 years", he adds. Our band is based "on the union between youth and experience", reveals Morales.

"We face rehearsals every week with great enthusiasm and excitement," he adds. "We give up free time, family and friends to play, but we do it out of passion," he reveals. "We have a fixed general rehearsal, but we do it twice in a duration of two hours," he adds.

In addition, he wanted to announce the two new songs they have worked on, with "their own lyrics composed by them". 'La Dema', with video clip included and 'Todo Contigo' created in their premises and are being released.

"We have spent all summer playing around Lanzarote"

"We have spent all summer playing around Lanzarote", he confesses. We could see them at the 'La Chola' party, with which the San Ginés festivities in Arrecife closed, at the festivities of Playa Blanca, Arrieta, etc. "Summer is when we have the busiest schedule", now in September that "we have a small break, we take the opportunity to create new songs", he says.

During these months, "the response from the people has been very good", he reveals. "Our greatest satisfaction is that the public knows our own songs", he concludes with enthusiasm.

In addition, next Saturday, September 16 on the occasion of the Juanes concert, the band will play "at two in the morning" after the performance of their sister orchestra 'Mambo Latino', with which he points out "to have a very good relationship".
