The Keroxen festival from Tenerife arrives for the first time on the island of Lanzarote, being held at the CIC El Almacén in Arrecife on May 4, 5 and 6. The 19th century house will be the place where the new frequencies festival will take place, which has been held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife since 2009 in an old fuel tank of more than 40,000 cubic meters. Organized together with the Culture Area of the Lanzarote Island Council, the event "will bring together on the island the new trends in music, art, photography, performance, poetry, screen printing or audiovisual installations with the aim of stimulating the relationships between art and people and renewing the language of the disciplines that converge in it", the organization has pointed out.
The cinema and exhibition hall and the main stage of the El Almacén cultural center will be the spaces in which a program will take place, which according to the organization of the event, "will be able to attract all possible audiences". In addition, the celebration will continue from 2 am in the Noise room of the capital. The production, organized by the Kerozen team, "will reconfigure the three spaces through a broad creative intervention combining visual effects, such as mapping and visual codes, and musical experimentation in which the new frequencies will be a constant", they have assured.
For three days Keroxen will collect a "cutting-edge and eclectic musical selection", where styles such as cumbia, rock, post-rock, electronic, folk music and rhythms from all corners of the world will be heard: Japan, Great Britain, Berlin, United States, Peru, Malaysia, Ireland and from all points of the Spanish geography: Andalusia, Madrid, Barcelona, Canary Islands…

Artistic and literary performances, music, screen printing, photography...
"Fresh, modern and tropical sounds will come together in volcanic synergy to set the soundtrack for this meeting with: Group A, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Filastine & Nova + Brent Arnold, Girl Band, Fiera, Los Ganglios, Salétile with Elsa Mateu, Postman + Jorganes, Tupperwear, Conjunto Podenco. Postman, Moody Boyz and D. Watts Riot", have announced from the Keroxen organization. They have also added that "the visual artists Alba G. Corral, Lasal and Simone Marin will be in charge of breathing life into the two 12x6m screens each" that will be installed on the site.
In addition to music, the Keroxen program includes performances. For example, the organization has highlighted that of Atchung Painting, which is "a performance by Nicolás Hernández, Rafael Pinillos and Simone Marin that combines live painting, music and new technologies". For its part, Ovejas negras is a "literary cabaret in which the writers Alejandra Galo, Roy Galán, Nira Llarena and Nuria Delgada claim the role of women as black sheep in all areas and, especially, in literature", they added. While Devenir is a "theatrical piece by actress Yuri Fontes that explores the transformation process of new identities". Likewise, the event will host the exhibitions of Juan Carlos Batista and Pura Márquez with which to "tour hell and paradise through their photographic proposals", according to the Keroxen organization.
"Projections that will take advantage of the main screen, artistic and literary performances, music, screen printing, photography and some other surprise will be the pillars of this meeting in which the order of space and its form, its genesis and current affairs, the abstract and the concrete, nature and culture are connected in three magmatic evenings", they have asserted from the Keroxen organization.
