Coinciding with the start of the Conil festivities in honor of Our Lady of La Magdalena and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the bar of the Aday sociocultural center in the town of Tías opened its doors this Monday. During its opening, residents of the town and the municipality of Tías enjoyed its services and the rich Canarian cuisine on its menu.
The bar-cafeteria of the Conil sociocultural center, whose facilities have been recently renovated by the Tías City Council, has an occupied area of 59.86 square meters distributed in a bar, kitchen, and warehouse. In addition, it corresponds to the use of the terrace in front of the premises. The term of the bar's concession is ten years.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the councilor for Classified Activities and Heritage, Mariana Pérez, visited the bar-cafeteria this Monday together with the councilors for Festivities and Children's Parks, Miriam Hernández and Christopher Notario, respectively, and congratulated those responsible for the operation of the bar.
Mariana Pérez recalled that the City Council conceives sociocultural centers as “places for meeting, traditions, and gatherings of friends and family”. She emphasized that the aim is to provide a gastronomic service with Canarian recipes and local products and local wine, “so we congratulate those responsible for the bar for their commitment to a differentiated service connected to tradition.”
José Juan Cruz encouraged citizens to come to the bar-cafeteria of the Conil sociocultural center and try its gastronomic offer. “It is important that we support entrepreneurs in the municipality, who not only boost the social life of the territory, but also cooperate with the consumption of local, affordable and quality products.”
