The Cabildo of Lanzarote has announced this Wednesday the hiring of the renowned Colombian artist Juanes for the celebration of the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores. The international singer will display his repertoire in a concert that will take place on September 16 on the stage of Mancha Blanca.
The Minister of Culture of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Jesús Machín Tavío, celebrated that an artist of the stature of Juanes chose the Island of the Volcanoes to offer a performance "that will be memorable and that will serve to highlight the commitment of the Island Institution to culture and popular festivals."
"These are the most important festivals in Lanzarote and we want our neighbors to enjoy top-level shows, complementary to the traditional events that highlight the heritage, culture and history of the Island," said the councilor.
