With the celebration of Holy Thursday, the Catholic Church inaugurates the 'Easter Triduum', considered the central axis of Holy Week because it relives each of the events carried out by Jesus in what would be his 'Last Supper' with his disciples before Judas handed him over.
Another of the symbols was the 'Washing of the Feet', but without a doubt the main one was the institution of the 'Eucharist', with the bread and wine converted into his 'Body and Blood'. On Holy Thursday, the Catholic Church celebrates the day of 'Fraternal Love'.
The celebration of the Eucharist began at 7:30 p.m. presided over by the parish priest of the parish of San Ginés Obispo, Juan Carlos Medina, the songs were directed by the Parish Choir with the participation of the parishioners who gathered on a very special day filling the three naves of the temple.
At the end of the solemn celebration, the procession took place inside the church with the Blessed Sacrament under a canopy to later deposit it in the Tabernacle installed in the chapel separated from the central nave where the so-called Monument has also been prepared where the Holy Hour will take place. After midnight, the adoration must be done without solemnity, since the day of the Passion of the Lord has already begun.
