The Casa-Museo del Campesino was the chosen setting to present one of the parts included in the project "Palabra de Lanzarote", an original proposal by "Panza Arriba Producciones" in collaboration with the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote. At 11 in the morning, in the outdoor patio and next to the craft shops, the concert began, supported by three great musicians knowledgeable about traditional Canarian music. José Vicente Pérez on the timple, Manuel Adrián Niz on the guitar and Acorán Ramón on the bass were in charge of accompanying the powerful and tuned voices of three great soloists such as Almudena Hernández, Manuel Estupiñán and Ciro Corujo.

During the concert they performed the most representative of traditional Canarian music: folias, seguidillas, sorondongo, zaranda and isa. There was also a dance couple formed by Leticia Martín and Víctor Brito, dressed in peasant costumes, who staged each of the choreographies corresponding to the most traditional pieces of folklore from the island of Lanzarote. During the development of the concert and to give it more prominence, a voice-over narrated what the work carried out by César Manrique in the Art and Culture Centers has meant for Lanzarote, a tourist attraction recognized worldwide.

The visitors who were visiting the Casa-Museo del Campesino at that time were surprised to hear the Canarian music and see how Leticia and Víctor danced to the sound of the chords of the timple, the guitar and the voices of the soloists. Some with cameras in hand, others with their mobiles, immortalized the moment. Ivanhoe Rodríguez and Luis de León were in charge of controlling the technical part so that everything sounded as planned. When the concert came to an end, the enthusiastic public asked them to continue, a request they accepted with an encore to the rhythm of Isa Parrandera.

The project "Palabra de Lanzarote" consists of two new parts, one of "Short Stories" and a third of "Production of Educational Material and Resources", to work with students from educational centers in the Primary and Secondary stages with content linked to the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote and to the figure of César Manrique himself.
