The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through its tourism office, has organized a choreography of 200 drones that will be seen from the entire Avenida de Naos, and that will serve as an image of the destination as a Christmas postcard.

The "most impressive" unmanned aircraft show will take place in Lanzarote on Christmas Day, December 25 at 8:00 p.m., and can be enjoyed completely free of charge. Two hundred of these machines will perform different choreographies in the middle of the ocean, which will be visible from the Avenida de Arrecife, in Naos, and will say goodbye to Christmas and welcome the new year.

It is the first time that an event of this magnitude has been held on the island, "being the largest that has ever been held in the history of the Canary Islands," they point out from the Cabildo. The show has been designed exclusively for the island through Turismo Lanzarote, which depends on the Island Council. "And it is focused on the tourist image of Lanzarote this Christmas," they add.

"High technology allows to recreate impossible images in the middle of the sky, which make the spectators enjoy some species of orograms that remain suspended in the air. In addition, this type of show does not generate unwanted noises or explosions and is totally sustainable and respectful with everyone," say from the Cabildo.

The take-off area will be in the Marina Lanzarote area, and it is undoubtedly expected to be an experience for all those who enjoy it that they will not be able to forget, both residents and our visitors.
