The cultural week between October 30 and November 5 is marked by the night of the dead in its multiple versions and by the Lanzarote Dance Festival. It also coincides with Lanzarote Wine Week.
The agenda also includes two film proposals, a cultural tour of Haría, two photographic exhibitions, and a concert by Canarian violinist Judith Choi-Castro and British pianist John Paul Ekins.

Amal. Lanzarote Youth Cinema

Traslación Festival
The VII Traslación Dance Festival proposes more than thirty performances in open, natural, and heritage spaces in six island municipalities, such as the Islote de la Fermina, the Castillo de San Gabriel, La Garita Beach in Arrieta, the Castillo Las Coloradas in Playa Blanca, the Casa de la Cultura de Arrecife, or the Casa Museo del Campesino.

The Night of the Dead
Actúa Teatro company pays tribute to the deceased with a proposal in which the audience assumes an active role and participates directly in the staging, becoming an essential part of the journey and the theatrical experience. Natalia. Puppets. Finaos
Natalia is a theatrical proposal based on a story by Juan Rulfo. The dancer Ana Luz de Andrés brings to life on stage some puppets that communicate without words.

Malvasia Week
The Wine Regulatory Board of Lanzarote organizes a new edition of the Malvasía Week with guided tastings, workshops, and pairings of Lanzarote wines, especially of the Malvasía variety.
Participants will be able to enjoy routes through vineyards, talks on volcanic viticulture, and culinary experiences with local products.

Culture at Field Level
Haría organizes a day to discover the soul of its valley. The culture of water, agriculture, and the tradition of Día de los Finaos intertwine in a meeting to feel how nature, the local primary sector, and popular memory give life to this unique territory.The day begins at 6:30 p.m. with the cultural route "Water and the Valley of a Thousand Palm Trees" and continues at 7:30 p.m. with oral narration: "Stories and Legends of the Finaos." The street, a space of resistance
As part of the Veintinueve Trece Photography and Visual Arts Meeting, the exhibition "The Street, a Space of Resistance" is organized, showcasing more than half a century of mobilizations and citizen struggles in Lanzarote through images by local photojournalists.

The exhibition Solo un nombre (Only a Name) is also part of the Veintinueve Trece Photography and Visual Arts Encounter, which proposes an intimate and respectful approach to trans* childhoods, where the photographer tiptoes into their lives to show the beauty of the everyday and identity as a process. A project that combines aesthetic sensitivity and ethical commitment, inviting us to look carefully and recognize what lies beyond the name.

The Canarian violinist Judith Choi-Castro and the British pianist John Paul Ekins —two internationally renowned performers— present a program that links Viennese classicism, the Spanish nationalism of the first third of the 20th century, and the popular imprint of Gershwin, with a recent premiere from Nino Díaz's catalog.
