The Lanzarote International Film Festival continues this week with the selection of the winning films in each of the competition categories until the closing ceremony this Saturday. Likewise, the new cycle of Destiladera by Tenique Cultural has begun with screenings in all municipalities about life in the island's villages in the past.
The books 'Naufragios' in Arrecife and 'De la ceniza al sueño' in Haría are also presented, and a conversation with Ildefonso Aguilar about his exhibition La profundidad del silencio is held. In addition, the Haría Escénica Festival recovers a dance and theater performance that could not be held at the time.
In the music section, Nacho Vegas presents his ninth studio album, and another concert of the Primavera Classical Music Festival is held in Puerto del Carmen. There will also be classical music in Tías and Arrecife, and an opportunity to see high-quality traditional Canarian music this Thursday at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture.

Conversation with Ildefonso Aguilar about The Depth of Silence
Conversation with the artist Ildefonso Aguilar about his exhibition The Depth of Silence. The meeting will be moderated by the curator Adonay Bermúdez and will feature the professor and music researcher Pompeyo Pérez Díaz and the curator and art historian Dalia de la Rosa. Before the colloquium, the documentary piece Arenas (2015) will be screened, commissioned by Aguilar from filmmaker Miguel G. Morales, which addresses his creative process.
