The Culture area of Teguise has proposed to its neighbors, through the representatives of the municipal groups, to choose an object or memory that will serve to keep for 25 years the mark that this 2020 has left on their lives.
The event will take place this Tuesday, December 29, at 11 a.m. at the Casa de la Cultura in Villa de Teguise, and will serve to leave a symbolic testimony of how Teguise has lived through a year marked by the Covid19 pandemic.
On the other hand, the councilor of the area, Nori Machín, has thanked “the participation of all those who are contributing to organize and shape the Christmas events that Teguise is carrying out at the end of such a different year”. “Despite the health restrictions and capacity limitations, the public has been very grateful for the musical and family proposals that have been developed so far and have done so with great responsibility, civility and with great enthusiasm,” Machín considered.
This past weekend, the Villa hosted the Intimate concert by tenor Besay Pérez, who shared the stage with the Japanese pianist and singer. Sunday was the turn of “Teguise Encanta”, the concert of five young singers from the municipality, who also together with the band directed by Ayoze Rodríguez, demonstrated their artistic skills on the stage of the Santo Domingo Convent.
This Tuesday, December 29, at 7:30 p.m., the concert of the timplista Alexis Lemes and Adrián Niz will take place in Pueblo Marinero in Costa Teguise, with the possibility of withdrawing invitations at 928 84 51 81.
