Satélite Teatro, the first professional inclusive street theater company in the Canary Islands, will present its show Astronauts within the framework of the HeArt Lanzarote Festival next Saturday, October 19 at 6:45 p.m., on Avenida Playa Honda. This stop is a special moment for Satélite Teatro, which is orbiting for the first time on another island of the Canary archipelago thanks to the HeArt Festival.
Since its premiere in Güímar on July 19, Astronauts has taken its message of inclusion and diversity to places such as the Escenario Infinito Festival in Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real) and the Clownbaret International Festival (FIC) in La Laguna and Santa Cruz. Now, it's Lanzarote's turn. The mission is new, to go where they have never gone before; but the flag is the same, that of human diversity as an engine for social transformation.
A journey of inclusion and art
Astronauts is a traveling street theater proposal in which actresses with and without disabilities interact with the public, challenging stereotypes and generating new conversations around diversity. Through a humorous poetic action, Astronauts invites us to reflect not only on the outside world but also on the inside, encouraging us to connect with answers that are within each one.
A new company with years of experience in the sector
