The Madrid artist Omar Montes was in Lanzarote this Monday, January 13, for the filming on the island of the third season of the famous Colombian soap opera La Reina del Flow.
The author of songs like El Pantalón or Alocao will be part of the artists who will make a cameo in the new season of this Netflix hit. Before him, singers such as Sebastián Yatra, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Manuel Turizo or Feid had already participated in previous seasons.
"If they tell me that I'm going to Lanzarote, I always tell them, take me out at least three or four days so I can be on the island and visit the beautiful places like Timanfaya", the former boxer highlighted during an interview with La Voz.
Montes has confessed to being a faithful follower of La Reina del Flow, which he got hooked on during the lockdown in the coronavirus pandemic. "Being here with Charlie Flow singing. This is wonderful, look how crazy people are. Realize that La Reina del Flow is a global series and people have accepted the plot very well", he continued.
Looking ahead to the coming months, Omar Montes plans to release a new hit with Deivi, called ¡Oh Baby!. Thus, the artist wanted to send a message to his followers on the island: "Thank you very much for the love you give me. I will come whenever you call me, I'd be delighted."
Drama Key, "in love" with Lanzarote
The actor and singer Marcos Andrés Carreño, known in music as Kiño, has also moved to the island to record the series' concert, along with some of the protagonists such as Carlos Torres, in the role of Charlie Flow, or Mariana Gómez, in the role of Irma Serna.
This recording is the reason for Kiño's second visit to Lanzarote, where he was already a few years ago for a music festival in his facet as a rapper. The actor who plays the character of Axel, has confessed that what impressed him most about Lanzarote on his previous trip were "its vineyards" and its beaches, but he has assured that "he still has a lot to discover". Thus, he has highlighted that "I hope people enjoy this third season and enjoy it".
For his part, Juan Palau, the actor who plays Drama Key, has pointed out that "he feels very happy, it is an honor, a blessing to be here recording La Reina del Flow three that has given us so much". His character, who appeared in the second season as a friend of the protagonist Charlie Flow (Carlos Torres) has been one of the most loved by the audience in the last season".
"I am in love with the island, the people, the atmosphere, everything is brutal", the artist highlighted during an interview with La Voz. During his speech he highlighted that "a lot of people have been mobilized from Colombia to make this a reality". It is not the first time that Palau has visited the Canary Islands, he was already in Gran Canaria with his label Dn7, which is behind La Reina del Flow.
