The San Bartolomé City Council celebrates the "resounding success" of the San Juan Night in Playa Honda, which brought together more than 2,000 people for an evening full of atmosphere, tradition, music, and togetherness, consolidating itself once again as one of the most outstanding events on the municipal festive calendar.

From the early hours of the morning, residents and visitors participated in the different activities programmed by the San Bartolomé City Council, which included children's activities, gastronomic workshops, tastings of local products, musical performances, and leisure spaces for the whole family, culminating with the traditional lighting of the Great San Juan Bonfire along the coast of Playa Honda.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted the successful participation registered throughout the day and thanked the exemplary behavior of the attendees.

"We are very satisfied with the development of this San Juan Night. More than 2,000 people enjoyed a celebration that once again turned Playa Honda into a great space for meeting, togetherness, and enjoyment for residents and visitors. It has been a massive day that proceeded with complete normality and demonstrates the enormous deep-rootedness of this tradition in our municipality," he pointed out.

The mayor added that "these types of celebrations contribute to revitalizing our public spaces, strengthening coexistence, and generating economic activity for the municipality, which is why we will continue to support events that combine tradition, culture, and citizen participation."

For her part, the Councilor for Commerce, Alma González, highlighted the participation of local producers and establishments during the day.

"San Juan Night also represents a magnificent opportunity to support local commerce and give visibility to local products. The public's response was extraordinary and shows that these types of initiatives contribute to revitalizing the economic and commercial activity of Playa Honda," she stressed.

The Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, underlined the atmosphere experienced throughout the celebration and the family-friendly nature of the program.

"We have enjoyed a very special night, with activities for all ages and great citizen participation. Seeing families, groups of friends, and visitors sharing this tradition together is the best reward for the work done to organize a program designed for everyone's enjoyment," he stated.

The magic of the bonfire, the festive spirit, and the broad citizen participation made this celebration an unforgettable gathering that once again highlighted one of the municipality's most deeply rooted traditions.

The San Bartolomé City Council thanks the collaboration of security forces and bodies, emergency services, municipal staff, volunteers, participating entities, and collaborating establishments, whose work made the proper development of a celebration that was once again a complete success in participation possible.
