National Geographic has published a photograph by Juan Méndez from Lanzarote in its photo of the day section. It is a spectacular image taken from Papagayo beach.
"I have fulfilled a dream, I always wanted to take this photo," explains the author. "I thank a good friend who gave me the opportunity to photograph his sailboat, the Gran Argonauta, which is the main protagonist of this photograph. The most beautiful thing was having captured the green ray, since it is very difficult to see," he adds.
