The afternoon of last Saturday, July 4th at 8:00 PM, the El Fondeadero Civic Center, located in the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías, hosted the long-awaited concert by the young guitarist from Madrid Daniel Martínez Asenjo, fresh from Frankfurt, who captivated the audience from the very first moment with a recital marked by sensitivity, virtuosity, and extraordinary closeness.

The artist offered a carefully curated repertoire that spanned different eras and styles of classical guitar, performing works by established and contemporary composers such as Nino Díaz, Fernando Sor, Miguel Llobet, Toru Takemitsu, and Roland Dyens, among others. Each performance was met with a warm reception from the audience, who enjoyed a musical evening of great artistic quality.

Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (HMDK) in Stuttgart, Daniel Martínez Asenjo has performed on prominent national and international stages and combines his solid musical career with his studies in Translation and Interpretation. His growing artistic projection places him among the young Spanish guitarists with the greatest interpretive personality, standing out for the depth and elegance with which he approaches each piece.

The Councilor for Culture of the Tías City Council, Pepa González, highly valued the performance and thanked the young musician for the generosity and dedication shown on stage. She emphasized that the concert allowed music to be shared with everyone present, turning the event into an unforgettable experience, full of emotion and love for this universal art.

Visibly moved, the municipal official also expressed her gratitude to the numerous audience who attended the concert and reaffirmed the commitment of the Tías City Council to continue promoting a quality cultural program, capable of offering new proposals that allow us to continue enjoying special encounters like the one led by Daniel Martínez Asenjo.

The ovation with which the recital concluded was the best recognition of an impeccable performance, in which talent, sensitivity, and passion for music came together to make the night of July 4th a night to remember in Puerto del Carmen.

Without a doubt, culture and music continue to be one of the best ways to bring people closer and enrich the soul.
