The event will aim to celebrate a dinner with Asian fusion based on a tradition of the Yi ethnic group of China, which takes place every year during the summer from the 24th to the 26th of the sixth lunar month. Originally, this custom is celebrated in the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan to ask for a good harvest and ward off crop pests. La Noche de las Antorchas will take place at the Casa del Mayor Guerra de San Bartolomé on July 27 from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at ecoentradas.com.

Jaime Jiang, president of the China Community Aid Foundation (FACC), has been in charge of creating and promoting this event. "We intend to share Chinese customs and festivities that have more in common with Lanzarote than is believed," explains Jiang. Integration is, according to the president, "a way of valuing and integrating both cultures by merging them in events and projects of a cultural, social and gastronomic nature."

During the cocktail, attendees will be able to enjoy dishes created exclusively for that night with ingredients as conejeros as sweet potato. From the organization they invite to "spend a unique, pleasant time, full of surprises, performances and unbeatable gastronomy".
