During the press conference this Thursday at the headquarters of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, in which they announced some of the details of these concerts, the Arrecife City Council and the Cabildo de Lanzarote showed with "pride" their celebration. The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, stressed the objective of these two cultural events. "The goal that we had set ourselves is becoming a reality, that the people of Lanzarote do not have to leave the island and move to enjoy a cultural offer", said the mayor of Arrecife. Also the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, wanted to emphasize that from the Insular Corporation: "We do not spend, we invest".
The president and head of Tourism, Oswaldo Betancort, has invited all the people of Lanzarote to "attend these musical events that have the collaboration of other public and private entities without which it would not be possible to carry them out”.
“Finally Lanzarote has a quality musical and leisure offer, aimed at the whole family and with affordable prices; in fact, tickets will be free for those over 65 years of age”. “Thus”, added the president, “our young and old people do not have to leave the island to enjoy good music and artists of recognized prestige”, said the president.
