The Tinajo City Council and the Security and Emergency Consortium of the Island Council of Lanzarote have announced that there will be free buses for those who want to attend the concert of the Colombian artist Juanes in the municipality. The show will take place on September 16, in the Plaza de Los Dolores.
The objective of this measure is to "avoid traffic jams and parking problems", the council has reported in a press release.
The bus service will depart from the Tinajo Municipal Pavilion, pass through the municipal cemetery area and end in Mancha Blanca. The departure time will be from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. While the return will be between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
The mayor of Tinajo and the councilor of the area, Jesús Machín and Yurena Cubas respectively, ask "those who are going to attend the Juanes concert to use, as far as possible, the free bus service to go to and return from the concert, which will help to avoid parking problems and traffic jams in the prelude to the expected concert of the Colombian artist in the Plaza de Los Dolores, a show framed in the Festivities of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores 2023".
