Music and the festive atmosphere were the main protagonists of the Arrecife Carnival on Friday night, with the Carnival Concerts held in the Plaza del Almacén after the opening speech.
The evening, which brought together a numerous and dedicated audience in the heart of the capital, kicked off with the performance of Duncan Dhu, as part of the 40th Anniversary Mikel Erentxun Tour, a journey through four decades of musical career that awakened the emotion of the attendees. Some of the group's most emblematic songs were played, such as En algún lugar, Cien gaviotas or Jardín de rosas, which have already become true anthems of Spanish pop.
After them, Alejo Stivel took the stage to offer a live performance full of energy and complicity with the audience. The former Tequila frontman made the square vibrate with recognizable songs such as *Salta*, *Rock and Roll en la plaza del pueblo*, or *Dime que me quieres*, maintaining the festive rhythm well into the night
These concerts are part of the Arrecife Carnival program, organized by the Department of Festivals, led by the deputy mayor, Echedey Eugenio, with the aim of offering a quality cultural and musical proposal that complements the traditional carnival events.
