The III Lanzarote Literature Festival, under the motto Letters of rofe and salt, returns from October 9 to December 3 with a cycle of six literary talks and two creation workshops that will turn the island into a living narrative territory.

This year, the event moves to the south of Lanzarote —Tías, Yaiza and Arrecife—, with the participation of top-level authors: Fernando Aramburu, Elizabeth Duval, Cristina Fernández Cubas, Sergio del Molino, Mónica Ojeda and Ignacio Martínez de Pisón. In addition, the workshops will be given by Matías Candeira and Men Marías.

Attendance at the talks and workshops is free, but requires prior registration through the official website of the festival. Each registration list opens one month in advance of the date of the corresponding activity.

The first to open has been that of Fernando Aramburu, who will inaugurate the festival on Thursday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the El Fondeadero Civic Center in Puerto del Carmen, with the talk Narrating pain: literature, memory and identity.

With this initiative, FDLL25 consolidates its objective of bringing literature closer to the local and visiting public, creating spaces for dialogue between authors and readers and projecting the volcanic and Atlantic identity of Lanzarote through the word.
