The Three Wise Men from the East will tour this Sunday, January 5, all the towns of Lanzarote to bring joy to the youngest on the island. From La Voz we offer you the itinerary of their majesties around the island.
Parade in Arrecife
Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will begin their journey at 10:00 a.m. touring the different neighborhoods of Arrecife. Thus, at 6:00 p.m. the traditional Three Kings Parade will start from the Puerto Naos roundabout to the Parque Islas Canarias and will end with a performance by the Parranda Raíces. That same day, there will be several musical performances in the Plaza de Las Palmas with the groups Vocal Force and Tremendo Son.
Haría Parade
The Three Wise Men will visit the towns of the municipality and then, at 7:00 p.m., the traditional Parade of Their Majesties will take place, which will tour the streets of Haría after the official reception at the council and after receiving the master key.
The public will be able to enjoy the traditional staging of The House of Herod and the usual delivery of gifts in the Haría square.
San Bartolomé Parade
The two San Bartolomé Parades will take place in the towns of Playa Honda and San Bartolomé. The one in Playa Honda will take place at 5:00 p.m. and will depart from the Guacimeta esplanade, touring the avenue to the height of Princesa Ico street, while the one in the town of San Bartolomé will be at 7:30 p.m. departing from the IES of San Bartolomé, touring Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera, Calderetas and Párroco San Martín streets and ending in the Town Hall square.
Parade in Teguise and La Graciosa
The Three Wise Men will also visit all the Teguise teleclubs from 9:15 a.m. in Caleta de Famara until 2:45 p.m. when they will finish in Teseguite. At 9:40 a.m. they will be in Caleta de Caballo, then at 9:50 a.m. in Soo, at 10:05 a.m. in Muñique, at 10:25 a.m. in Giagua, at 10:45 a.m. in Tao, at 11:05 a.m. in Mozaga, at 11:25 a.m. in Nazaret, at 11:45 a.m. in Tahíche, at 12:05 p.m. Las Caletas, at 12:25 p.m. in Costa Teguise, at 1:05 p.m. in Los Cocoteros, at 1:25 p.m. in Guatiza, at 1:55 p.m. in Los Valles and at 2:20 p.m. in El Mojón. Meanwhile, the Grand Parade will take place next 7:00 p.m.
The island of La Graciosa will host its Three Kings Parade next Sunday at 6:30 p.m., which will depart from the Port of Caleta de Sebo. After concluding, a snack will be held at the Inocencia Páez Socio-Cultural Center.
Tías Parade
The Tías Parade will take place next Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in Puerto del Carmen. After arriving at the pier, the Parade confesses in Teide street to Los Afrechos and the collection of letters in the Plaza del Varadero.
Thus, at 6:00 p.m. the Tías Parade will depart from the Rotonda intersection of Pérez Galdos street, passing through the central avenue Alcalde de Florencio Suárez and Libertad street and the collection of letters in the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández "Pancho" football field.
Tinajo Parade
The municipality of Tinajo will celebrate its traditional Parade at 5:30 p.m. from the football field to the Plaza de San Roque, where Their Majesties will receive the key to the municipality. After that, the council offers a family theater plan, in the Social Hall of Tinajo to see the representation The Legend of Krampus, for ten euros.
Yaiza Parade
Their Majesties will also visit Yaiza at 12:30 p.m. noon with their usual route through the main street of the town, leaving from the old art gallery to reach the Plaza de la Alameda, the large square of Yaiza, where children's activities and bouncy castles are organized from 11:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Playa Blanca parade maintains its schedule of 6:00 p.m. on January 5, departing from the roundabout of the Guaguas Station to begin its route along Jaime Quesada street and connect with Avenida Papagayo, the central street of the tourist town, and end in the Plaza del Carmen, where there are also children's activities and bouncy castles from 4:30 p.m.
In addition, at the end of both Parades, minors will be able to have a close encounter with the Three Wise Men to deliver their letters.
