Caleta de Caballo concluded its festivities last Sunday with many activities aimed at adults and children. One of the most outstanding events was the maritime procession of La Lapa, held on Sunday, August 25, in which the figure of a limpet is taken out and paraded through the town.
On Friday, August 23, there was a parade with a batucada through the town with the group 'Los Cumbacheros', featuring the folk performances of the groups 'Son del Norte' and 'Los Valles'. On Saturday, August 24, there was a DJ performance and bouncy castles for the little ones.
Throughout the festivities, from August 16 to 25, the residents were able to enjoy the Canarian ball competitions, and even a playback in which a child and adult audience participated. An emotional event in which the citizens made community.
One of the neighbors and collaborator in the festivities, Rita Martín, has highlighted the success of the festivity. "There was a lot of participation from the people, the program was very popular and people enjoyed the coexistence between neighbors and friends," she concluded.
