At 11:00 a.m. this Saturday, the heart of Arrecife began to beat to the rhythm of folklore. From the emblematic meeting point known as Las Cuatro Esquinas, the four folkloric groups that starred in the day met, ready to begin the traditional parade in honor of the patron saint of the city of Arrecife, San Ginés.

The tour of Calle Real, a pedestrian and lively artery of the capital's center, became an authentic popular festival. The groups, between songs and dances, advanced with enthusiasm while being followed by the attentive gaze of a devoted public, which crowded on both sides of the road. With mobiles raised, they captured every moment, immortalizing unique moments of this festive morning.

Meanwhile, in the Boca del Muelle Chico, next to the historic Puente de Las Bolas, the image of the Patron Saint San Ginés awaited, accompanied by his parish priest Juan Carlos Medina, and numerous parishioners. These had left minutes before from the main church, carrying the saint in a brief but emotional procession.

When the groups arrived at the meeting with San Ginés, the expected Musical Offering began, which took place following the order of arrival. The Aturuxo Folkloric Group, arriving from A Coruña (Galicia), began, followed by San Cristóbal de Gran Canaria, Princesa Iraya from Tenerife and finally the local representation, Coros y Danzas Arrecife. Each group offered the best of its traditional repertoire, in a living expression of respect, art and devotion.

After the offering, the image of San Ginés began its return to the main church, accompanied by the parish priest, the groups and an excited public. The return journey was a true popular tribute, marked by the ringing of the bells, the applause and the cheers that resonated between the facades of the historic center.

With this emotional closing, Arrecife experienced a day deeply rooted in religion and tradition, uniting generations around music, faith, and collective identity.
