The Hollywood production company Wanda Halcyon Television, recently installed in Spain, is already processing permits to film part of its new series, "Marked-The Unforgiven", in Lanzarote. The company hopes to film between January 11 and April 23 of next year, with the island of Lanzarote and the coast of Almería as the setting.
The series is an adaptation of a novel by George Christie, former president of Hells Angels Ventura and Amazon's best-selling novelist. The story begins with the return home of Jack Crest, a former Marine sniper in Afghanistan, who forms a motorcycle club with another sniper from the Vietnam era, Big John. The 12 original members of the club are Marines, Green Berets, Navy Seals and even a Coast Guard captain. "The series is a drama that exposes the dichotomy between the members of the club and the people they deal with," explains the production company.
Christie himself will play the character of Big John in the series, and the landscapes of Lanzarote and Almería "will be a key piece of the new series." In the case of Almería, it will become Ventura, California, while a "mansion" in Lanzarote will be the home of the head of the fictitious Ximénez cartel.

On December 14, Wanda-Halcyon will hold a press conference to announce two well-known names who will play Big John's protégé, Jack Crest, and Big John's mentor, Joseph Battaglia, a Chicago mafia boss, who will soon be on the island of Lanzarote.
According to Pat Andrew, producer of Wanda-Halcyon Television, the actor who will play Jack Crest has been nominated for an Emmy Award, an American award that recognizes excellence in the television industry, and the actor who will play Joseph Battaglia has been nominated for an Oscar, for his outstanding performances in the film industry.
