The councilors of Coalición Canaria who were summoned this Friday to testify as investigated for an alleged crime of document forgery have not finally appeared before the magistrate, who has decided to postpone these appearances until analyzing the documentation that he requested from the Cabildo.
Both Pedro San Ginés and Samuel Martín, Oscar Pérez, David de la Hoz, Domingo Cejas, Migdalia Machín and Tania Ramón Espinosa had requested that these statements be suspended and the judge dismissed their request, but finally he has ended up canceling them by his own decision, setting them again for next June 20.
The reason is that when accepting the extension of the complaint filed by Juan Manuel Sosa, initially directed against Pedro San Ginés, the judge not only decided to summon the rest of the CC councilors as defendants, but also to collect documentation aimed at investigating whether they falsified the regulations of the group, creating an “ad hoc” document to be able to expel Sosa.
The magistrate would not have received the documentary until this Thursday, so he has finally decided to postpone the interrogations, until he can analyze it.
Thus, the majority of councilors have not come to the Courts of Arrecife this Friday. Who has been at the judicial headquarters has been the lawyer who represents all of them, together with Pedro San Ginés and Óscar Pérez.
