The Dean Judge of Lanzarote, Adalberto de la Cruz Correa, will become part of the Governing Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands. De la Cruz has been one of the seven elected after the elections held this past Tuesday, November 26 for the partial renewal of the Chamber.

The seven candidates from the Francisco de Vitoria Judicial Association will become part of the Governing Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands. Along with Adalberto de la Cruz, who obtained 89 votes, Mónica García Yzaguirre, Marina Mas Carrilllo, María del Carmen Serrano, María Belén Sánchez, Iván Job Pérez, and María Negrín Monllor have also been selected in the province of Las Palmas.

In total, the Francisco de Vitoria Judicial Association obtained 1050 votes, compared to 506 for the Professional Association of the Magistracy, and 165 for Judges for Democracy.
