A defendant accused of selling cocaine and heroin in Arrecife will be tried next week by the Provincial Court, with a request for 4 and a half years in prison. The Prosecutor's Office also requests that a fine of 818.79 euros be imposed, with the subsidiary personal responsibility of 2 months in prison in case of non-payment.
The indictment recounts several episodes that occurred between June 11 and June 16, 2020, when he was allegedly being watched by security forces. In total, the Prosecutor's Office describes three sales of between 0.5 and 1.41 grams of cocaine at the doors of his home or in the vicinity, which was later seized by the agents.
With these indications, judicial authorization was requested to search his home, which was carried out a few days later, on June 22, 2020. In the house, they found 7 packages with 3.17 grams of heroin, two packages with 0.95 grams of cocaine, four packages with 4.68 grams “of brown substance not subject to supervision” and one more package with 1.41 grams.
In addition, they found 3,789 euros in cash, seven mobile phones, a precision scale, three rolls of transparent film and several plastic bags to make boliches.
The Prosecutor's Office accuses him of a crime against public health in its modality of substances that cause serious damage to health and the trial is scheduled for March 25, before the Sixth Section of the Provincial Court.
