The judge has ordered the preventive detention of the perpetrator of the stabbing that left one person seriously injured on November 16th on Igualdad street in Arrecife, as confirmed to La Voz by the National Police.
In addition, officers also arrested three other people for their involvement in these events, who were brought before the court this past Saturday
As you may recall, the victim was stabbed in the back and, despite the wound, managed to make his way to a nearby house, where he knocked on the door seeking help. Upon opening it, the woman in the home observed the scene and immediately alerted emergency services.
The injured man had to undergo surgery at the José Molina Orosa Hospital to remove the bladed weapon. The victim remained in the ICU observation area.
Forensic Police agents carried out the on-site inspection of the scene, while officers from the Judicial Police of the Arrecife Police Station took charge of the investigation. A patrol also went to the hospital to collect the weapon used in the assault and submit it for examination in search of evidence.
