The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try this Tuesday in Lanzarote a man accused of selling drugs in a bar on Añaza street in Arrecife.
The Public Ministry accuses J.A.B.O. of allegedly carrying inside the establishment a bag with 12.84 grams of cocaine of 80.3% purity to sell it.
According to the Prosecutor's Office brief, the accused threw this substance to the ground upon the arrival of the police officers. Thus, after searching him, they seized one hundred euros in cash, which the Ministry assures come from the illicit sale. In total, the seized drug had a value of 3,349 euros on the black market.
The Prosecutor's Office requests for the accused of a crime against public health in the form of substances that cause serious harm, the penalty of four years in prison, disqualification during passive suffrage and a fine of 4,000 euros, with the responsibility of serving one month in prison in case of non-payment.
