The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try next Wednesday in Arrecife a man accused of sexually abusing his minor daughter in a continuous manner from the age of 13 to 16 in Lanzarote.
The events date back to the period between 2016 and October 2019. According to the prosecution's indictment, the man allegedly undressed, undressed the minor, touched her breasts, buttocks and genitals, rubbed his own genitals on the minor's body and masturbated in front of her.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the man allegedly tried to get his daughter to masturbate him and perform fellatio on him, but when the minor refused, he masturbated in front of her.
Among the episodes presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office, in the summer of 2019 and while they were on vacation, the accused took advantage of the fact that the minor's mother was in the bathroom of the hotel room and allegedly began to touch his daughter's breasts and private parts. He would only have stopped when the minor's mother came out of the bathroom.
Thus, the Public Prosecutor's Office emphasizes that the last time these events occurred, while allegedly performing the aforementioned behaviors, he showed the minor a pornographic film.
The minor has since suffered anguish, anxiety and fear of the accused, which is aggravated by the fact that it is a relationship between father and daughter. In addition, the parent allegedly threatened her that if she told anyone, he would go to the Tahíche prison.
The Prosecutor's Office considers the accused the perpetrator of a continuous crime of sexual abuse and asks for a sentence of six years in prison, with special disqualification of the right to passive suffrage, special disqualification for any profession or trade with minors for five years after serving the prison sentence and a ban on approaching within 300 meters of the minor, her home or any other place frequented by her for eight years. In addition, five years of supervised release.
Thus, the parent must compensate the minor with 3,000 euros.
