The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has opened the registration period for a new face-to-face and free training action of 'Introduction to DJing', framed within the Talento Joven program.
This initiative, co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the Cabildo de Lanzarote, has as its priority purpose to act as a labor intermediation tool, training young people in skills highly demanded by the business fabric of the islands, especially in the sectors of leisure, tourism, and event organization. Due to the specialized nature of the subject matter and the use of professional technical equipment, places to participate are limited.
As it is an action integrated into the Youth Guarantee initiatives, the call is aimed at unemployed young people between 16 and under 30 years of age who are registered in said national system. The course will be taught by the Lanzarote DJ Denis Rodd.
All young people on the island who want to learn and focus their future on this professional sector can now formalize their free registration through this link.
The training program offers progressive learning that ranges from traditional booth techniques with vinyl to the management of professional Rekordbox software and the use of artificial intelligence applied to music. In addition to the technical section, students will acquire fundamental notions of digital marketing, video editing, sound connection, and business management, with the testimony of a leading company in the sector in the Canary Islands. To conclude the itinerary, students will carry out open practical sessions, where they can demonstrate the acquired skills to industry professionals.
The Talento Joven Program is a project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain with funding from the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the support of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
