Microsystems Vocational Training Graduation Ceremony

The MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center held the Graduation Ceremony for students of the Intermediate and Higher Level Cycles of Technician in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Higher Technician in Dental Hygiene, Higher Technician in Dietetics and Higher Technician in Administration and Finance.

Among the graduates are the future mayor of Arrecife Yonathan de León (Popular Party and the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce and Human Resources, Eli Merino (Popular Party).

The Graduation Ceremony was held in the Islote Room of the Arrecife Gran Hotel, which was completely filled with family and friends of the graduating students. A very emotional and festive event where the students were supported by family, friends and teachers.

The Ceremony was attended by the Councilor for Education and Employment of the Hon. Island Council of Lanzarote, Ms. Ascensión Toledo Hernández and with the representation of the Arrecife City Council, Mr. José Francisco Montelongo Espinosa. Who congratulated the new graduates, recognizing how important it is that the society of Lanzarote has a total of one hundred and ten new graduates, as it responds to the needs of the business community, which increasingly demands professional technicians. Highlighting the importance of having a quality education as this allows them to access the labor market with guarantees.

There were also words of congratulations for the teaching staff, staff of the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center and for the Director of the Center, Ms. Beatriz Salazar for her extensive career in favor of a training that meets the highest quality standards.

Vocational Training is the best alternative and the fastest and safest way to access the labor market

The emotional event was presided over by the director of the center, Ms. Beatriz Salazar Hernández, who focused her speech on congratulating the graduates for having reached the goal they set some time ago. The effort and sacrifice have paid off, pointing out that this new class of graduates should feel proud, as they have excellent academic preparation. In addition, she congratulates the students for having chosen Vocational Training to build their future, which is undoubtedly the fastest and safest way to access the labor market. She pointed out her satisfaction for having collaborated in achieving the challenge they set for themselves in their day and that today they celebrate in this Graduation ceremony with these new professionals prepared to face the competitive labor market. Next, she highlighted the extraordinary work of the teaching team that has been a key piece for this success.

Once the Graduation Ceremony was over, Salazar sent a warm message to all the graduates of this class: "They will always be part of the great family as members of the MICROSISTEMAS center."

The director of the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center, Ms. Beatriz Salazar, thanked the many companies that collaborate in the training of students through the FCT - Training in Work Centers - pointing out, as year after year, they welcome students, providing knowledge, skills, abilities and bringing them closer to the reality of the world of work.

As representatives of these companies, the members of ADISLAN, Ms. Isabel Díaz Camacho and Ms. Guadalupe Villalba González, attended, to whom she thanked for their attendance at this Graduation ceremony.

Delivery of sashes

Next, members of the teaching staff of the respective Vocational Training cycles took the floor to congratulate the students for their great effort and dedication in obtaining their Official Vocational Training Degree, highlighting the dedication, good humor and teamwork that at all times accompanied them in their training stage.

Next, the student representatives of the different cycles related their experiences, anecdotes and experiences intermingled with affectionate words towards the teaching staff and gratitude to the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center for the opportunity to pursue their studies and provide them with an excellent quality professional training.

The interventions and speeches were interspersed with the projection of images of the 42-year professional career of the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center, as this has allowed the celebration of this academic event.

In addition to the close and emotional speeches, the graduating students were given their sash and the teaching team a plaque of recognition for their dedication and excellent results, as well as the representatives of the Arrecife City Council and the Hon. Island Council of Lanzarote for their participation.

The event was enlivened by Toñin Corujo Quartet. At the end of the event, students, families, teachers and all attendees were invited to a cocktail.

Almost 100% placement of Microsistemas students

The MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center has its own Official Placement Agency, whose main objective is the promotion and labor insertion, actively taking care of the search or improvement of the employment of its students.

Official scholarships and grants

As these are official qualifications, students can apply for scholarships and grants from the Ministry of Education or a bonus of up to 100% of the cost of training.

The Microsistemas Integrated Vocational Training Center has the Delegation of the Isabel I University, so you can study University Degrees and Masters without traveling outside Lanzarote, under an agreement signed between these two institutions.

At the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated Vocational Training Center, students can validate their Higher Vocational Training degree, allowing students, depending on the cycle, to obtain two qualifications in 4 years: Higher Vocational Training Cycle + University Degree
