The Cabildo of Lanzarote organizes the project Mentormind Financiero: training in entrepreneurial finance, a program aimed at about twenty entrepreneurs from the island.
Among them, there are entrepreneurs linked to different economic sectors, such as crafts, food, health and wellness, physical-sports activities, healthy leisure, nutrition, commerce, and the education sector, among others.
The Councilor for Education and Employment of the Island Corporation, Ascensión Toledo, after welcoming the participants, highlighted that "with this training we will try to accompany and teach entrepreneurs the appropriate steps to achieve total control of the economy of their companies".
The objective, Toledo pointed out, is that at the end of the course they "have a clear, efficient, practical system for managing their economy that guarantees the profitability of their businesses and allows them to put their finances in order."
Mentormind Financiero: training in entrepreneurial finance is carried out through seven training sessions of three hours each. Once the training is completed, monthly meetings will be held until December, aimed at analyzing and sharing finances and business strategies.
Thus, the numbers of their businesses will be analyzed jointly and the problems of their companies, focusing on the impact of decisions at a strategic level.
