The Institute of Seniors and Social Services (Imserso) has confirmed the key dates for the sale of trips within the Tourism Program corresponding to the 2026-2027 season, with reservations starting on September 14. In the Canary Islands, it will be on September 16.
For this edition, the organization has accredited more than 4.6 million people and has begun sending out nearly 2.9 million informational letters that include the four-digit code needed to submit applications.
The letters specify the assigned reservation deadlines and remind that each holder is entitled to travel accompanied by their spouse, de facto partner, or children with disabilities. If the notification is not received by mail, the accreditation and code can be downloaded directly through the Imserso Electronic Office.
The marketing calendar will be organized in stages according to the autonomous community of residence. In Andalusia, Aragon, Castile and León, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Melilla, Navarre, and La Rioja. People with preferential accreditation will be able to purchase starting September 14, while non-preferential individuals will have access on September 15.
In Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castile-La Mancha, Catalonia, Ceuta, the Valencian Community, Murcia, and the Basque Country, the sale for preferential accredited individuals will open on September 16, and for non-preferential individuals on September 17.
During the first stage, from September 14 to 18, each participant will only be able to opt for the spots assigned to their own province. From September 19 onwards, the global quota will be released, allowing reservations for any available vacancy nationwide. Transactions can be processed at authorized travel agencies or online through the platforms www.turismosocial.es for the peninsular coast and getaways, and www.mundicolor.es for island destinations.
