The Teguise City Council has joined the new event with Fitur with the aim of making "new contacts, starting projects and closing agreements, in addition to making the most of being members of two associations also present in Madrid that will promote the destination: the Association of Tourist Municipalities of the Canary Islands and the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain."
"In addition to accompanying the accommodation plant in Costa Teguise and the rest of the municipality's tourism professionals, we will also support Turismo Lanzarote in its round of meetings and technical conferences in this great forum that is presented as an opportunity to recycle with the new market trends and achieve a sector update after almost two years of pandemic," said the head of Tourism of Teguise, Antonio Callero.
The councilman, accompanied by his colleague councilor delegate of the island of La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, attended this Wednesday the presentation of the Lanzarote car rental company CICAR, "which will include information of the eighth island in its APP of Audio Guides of the Canary Islands."
"In addition, we are very proud of the participation of Teguise in two key associations to continue promoting ourselves as a destination, such as the Association of Tourist Municipalities of the Canary Islands and the Association of The Most Beautiful Villages of Spain," Callero said. "Both will allow us to expand our field of action and open new avenues of expansion and opportunities to maintain competitiveness and the tourist quality that we all want to reactivate the economy and employment in Teguise," he concluded.
