October hotel reservations in the Canary Islands, still 16% below last year

However, reserved overnight stays are only 5% away from reaching what was achieved in 2022

Hotel reservations for October in the Canary Islands are still 16% below those that occurred in the same month of 2022, according to the tourist news portal hosteltur. 

The data is based on records from the Dingus reservation platform, which serves more than 300 hotels in the Canary Islands (72,890 rooms available).

Despite the fact that reservations are still less than last year, the nights of stay total 1,209,000 and are less than 5% of those made in October of last year.

The most prominent stay in the Canary Islands, with 66% of the total, is between 3 and 7 nights, while that of between 8 and 14 nights reaches 26%. 22.4% of reservations are made less than 60 days in advance and couples are the majority of customers (70%).

At the national level, October starts with more than 450,600 reservations generated, 21% away from reaching those of last year on these dates. The nights of stay are 10% lower.
