The average rate of hotels in Lanzarote rose slightly in March to 144.8 euros per night, achieving a total income of 72 million euros, according to the latest Hotel Survey from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Thus, the average rate of hotel establishments in Lanzarote was the third highest in the archipelago, behind those achieved in Gran Canaria (167 euros) and Tenerife (159).
However, the behavior was very different depending on the different tourist spots in Lanzarote.
On one hand, the hotels in Yaiza had the third highest rate among the municipalities of the Canary Islands, barely exceeding 160 euros, while last year it had remained at 151 euros.
The average rate in Yaiza was only surpassed in the archipelago by the hotels in Adeje (193 euros) and San Bartolomé de Tirajana (183).
Meanwhile, the hotel establishments in Tías had to lower their prices compared to last year. If in March 2024 the average price amounted to 140 euros, last month it remained at 134 euros.
Finally, the hotels in Teguise had an average rate of 132 euros per night, a couple of euros higher than what was obtained in March of last year.
