Lanzarote's vacation rentals earn more than ever: they exceed 28 million in August

Despite prices rising by an average of 14% compared to last year, reservations and the length of stays increased this August

97% of the 7,781 vacation homes available in Lanzarote in August were booked and collectively earned 28.3 million euros, more than ever before in a month.

The data has been provided by the Lanzarote Data Center based on the latest Tourist Accommodation Survey of the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).

In August of last year, the revenue from vacation homes on the island remained at 24 million euros, although it is true that there were fewer homes booked, specifically 7,480, 96.3%.

The average stay in vacation rentals in Lanzarote during the month of August reached 5.08 days and, therefore, increases compared to the 4.96 days twelve months ago.

The average rate per night for all vacation rentals in Lanzarote increased by 14.2% compared to a year ago, to 216 euros.

Among the vacation rentals with up to four places, the average price was 133 euros, 11.7% more than in August 2024.

Among those between 5 and 8 places, prices rose by 20% compared to last year to 328 euros per night.

For their part, Lanzarote's vacation rentals with more than 8 places rose by 4.5% to 544 euros per night.
