Lanzarote, the best valued Canary Island to repeat a visit

Discover how they value their intention to return to the rest of the Canary Islands, in general and by specific tourist markets

The tourists who traveled to Lanzarote during the second quarter of 2025 are the most likely to return of all the Canary Islands.

Travelers who were in Lanzarote between April and June gave a rating of 9.02 out of 10 regarding their intention to return to the island of volcanoes, according to data provided by the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).

Next, those who visited La Palma, who gave a score of 8.95 out of 10 regarding the possibilities of returning to the beautiful island soon.

In third place was Tenerife, which obtained among its spring visitors an 8.73 regarding its intention to repeat a visit to the largest island in the archipelago.

For its part, Gran Canaria obtained an 8.71 among its visitors and Fuerteventura an 8.67.

By specific markets, ISTAC has analyzed the British, German and peninsular markets. The British gave a 9.11 in Lanzarote, a 9.03 in both Gran Canaria and Tenerife, an 8.97 in Fuerteventura and an 8.67 in La Palma.

Among the Germans, those who visited La Palma (8.88) were more likely to repeat, followed by those who came to Lanzarote (8.78), Gran Canaria (8.77), Fuerteventura (8.53) and Tenerife (8.35).

Among the peninsulars who visited the Canary Islands, those who were most willing to return to the island they saw were those who were in La Palma (9.47); followed by those who visited Fuerteventura (9.25); Tenerife (9.12); Lanzarote (9.04) and Gran Canaria (8.91).
