The Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC) has asked British and German tourists to rate, between 1 and 10, the possibilities of recommending the Canary Islands and each of its islands to their compatriots once they return to their country.
The highest score among the British was obtained by Lanzarote, which was scored 9.15. Next, the citizens of the United Kingdom chose Tenerife, which obtained 9.11, and Fuerteventura, with 9.07.
The British gave Gran Canaria 8.92 points and La Palma 8.91. ISTAC did not ask about El Hierro and La Gomera.
For their part, the Germans chose La Palma in first place (9.11) and Lanzarote in second place (9.10).
The third island with the most possibilities of being recommended by tourists from Germany is Gran Canaria, which obtained 8.92, followed by Tenerife, with 8.79, and Fuerteventura (8.75).
Regarding the possibility of recommending the Canary Islands as a whole, the British give it a score of 9.09 and the Germans of 8.86.
