Lanzarote flight tickets will be 16% cheaper during 'Black Friday'

A recent study by 'Jetcost' indicates that European flights will be almost 20% cheaper, followed by national flights (17.42%) and those from the rest of the world (12.35%)

Once again, Black Friday is approaching, and offers and price drops are returning to all businesses, services, and products, including flights. The powerful flight and hotel search engine Jetcost has conducted an analysis comparing prices of thousands of flights, and the answer is yes, domestic flights will be 17.42% cheaper, European flights 19.65%, and flights to the rest of the world 12.35%. In general, the prices of all tickets will be 16% cheaper than the average price of the year.

Jetcost.es has conducted a study analyzing thousands of flights and fares to determine the average prices of airline tickets during Black Friday week of 2024, comparing it with offers and prices throughout the rest of the year, and these are the conclusions:

Domestic Flights

National flights will have an average discount of 17.42%, which means that if a domestic flight has an average price of 337.19 euros during the year, it will drop to 278.45 euros during Black Friday week. Discounts will reach up to 35% when compared to July, which is the most expensive month of the year to buy a domestic flight. It is a great opportunity to search for the flights we want to take, as only in the month of February can we find domestic flights at a cheaper average price (257.35 euros).

European Flights

For their part, European flights will have an average discount of 19.65%, with an average price of 326.46 euros during the year and 262.31 euros during Black Friday week. The discount rises to 42% compared to August, the most expensive month. As with domestic flights, only in the month of February will flights to European destinations be cheaper (255.48 euros).

Flights to the Rest of the World

Finally, flights to destinations in the rest of the world will have an average discount of 12.35%, with an average price of 903.43 euros during the year, while during Black Friday week they will average 791.86 euros. The discount will reach up to 24% if we compare it with May, the most expensive month to buy this type of flight. In this case, these are the third-best offers of the year, only surpassed in January and February.
